Unfortunately, with the season closure we didn’t get to spend a bunch of time with our Walrus friends. We did however, make sure to acknowledge that the herd was intact and in good apparent health. We were very careful not to disturb them as they were at total peace on their majestic haul-out.
Good to see that the bears have managed to hold the fort down without our lodge opening!! There seem to be a bunch more bears around and fox.
The area biology is bustling without people and I miss being close to the Wild!! Next year…
