Wildman’s Wilderness Lodge is a truly “in the wild” fly in only remote lodge.  We are located 500 air miles southwest of Anchorage on the remote Alaska Peninsula, on the banks of a crystal clear artesian river teaming with colorful spawning salmon, trout and Arctic Char. Wildman is the ONLY lodge on this pristine river, so don’t expect to see anyone that you didn’t see at the breakfast table.

The Trapper’s Den is a favorite socializing space in the main lodge, over looking Ocean River with an excellent view of the expansive 8,000 foot Mt. Veniaminof, a glacier shrouded volcano.  The Trapper’s Den is the place to hear the Wildman strum a few Alaskan songs or recite a Robert Service, Klondike poem or two in the evening.

Very comfortable cabin accommodations include; Cabins with Twin rooms and bath/shower, Cabins for families with a King room and a room with twin beds and shared bath/shower, as well as deluxe King rooms for couples each room with private bathroom and shower.

Our wilderness lodge easily accommodates 16 guests in comfortable cabins. All though Alaska Walrus Tours hosts a maximum of 12 guests during each wildlife tour session and generally takes no more than eight persons to visit the Cape Seniavin walrus haul out, or travel down river to view Alaska brown bear, at one time. So count on a very personalized wildlife viewing experience with Alaska Walrus Tours, when you visit us on the remote Alaska Peninsula.
