WELCOME TO ALASKA WALRUS TOURS
Established before statehood, Wildman Lodge is situated on the Alaska Peninsula Wildlife Refuge. We are at the base of 8,000 ft glacier-shrouded Mt. Veniaminof, the largest volcano on the remote Alaska Peninsula.
Our lodge is accessible only by air and is the only facility in the area, sitting amongst three crystal-clear artesian rivers. Explore Alaska’s wonders without the crowds and witness wildlife in their natural habitat. Pacific Walrus, Alaska Brown Bear, caribou, wolves, fox, moose, otters, and much more can be seen on our daily guided excursions.
Pacific Walrus tours in Alaska take place on miles of uninhabited black sand beaches. Distant glacier shrouded volcanoes loom behind scenic rivers. Endless expanses of emerald highlands are intertwined with alder, willow and lush meadows. Wild berries and lichen, all providing nourishment and protective cover, create the necessary biodiversity.

ROAMING THE UNEXPLORED
There are no roads, no trails, and no public facilities in this vast, unexplored region, much of which has now been included in the Alaska Peninsula National Wildlife Refuge or the Walrus Islands State Game Sanctuary. Here in Alaska’s true wilderness Alaska Brown Bear, Pacific Walrus and wolves are our closest neighbors.
Join the experienced Alaska Bush Pilots and Wilderness Guides at Wildman Lodge for a wildlife viewing experience that you will never forget.
